3 months after surgery and I'm still getting used to my body. My right expander still has a weird dent in it and probably will until my exchange surgery.
I have found that yoga has really helped me gain back my mobility. Losing weight is just an added bonus.

It's really hard to take a good picture of yourself |
Another added bonus is that I can now wear tops I was never able to before because I no longer require a bra.
Case in point this awesome halter I made myself.
I'm learning to be more comfortable in my own skin, which is important when you feel like you had Betty Rubble and Wilma Flintstone's plastic surgeon.
Pictures and more after the jump
Not only do I notice that my expanders are settling and looking more boob shaped (instead of being up by my clavicle but I can see that I am losing inches. I'd say I'm losing weight but the scale keeps fluctuating so I'm going by my pants being big.

looking more boob like |
Doing yoga and belly dancing has really helped my mobility and I feel great after I've done it.

I'm still sleeping in the recliner and hoping that once I have my exchange surgery I'll be able to sleep in my own bed again.
Can't wait for an excuse to wear my new halter top.

That is one of your smiley-est progress photos yet. You look fabulous, inside and out!
I'm trying to smile more especially since I am really happy with my progress.
Looks great! I love seeing that yoga is helping someone. It's such a great tool.
I've been trying to smile more in the progress photos because I've been generally happier.
I didn't know you were following my progress :)
It's been amazing, not just for the weight loss (that's a bonus) but for the mobility.
When I started yoga I couldn't lift my arms over my head. Now I've got my mobility back.
