Work in progress

In March of this year I started a shawl project.  I intended to have it done by May to give my mother as a birthday/mother's day gift.  It's a fairly simple and straight forward pattern.
Little did I know my son had other plans for me.  7 months later and I'm only half way through.  I love the way it's coming out but finding the time during the day to knit it a challenge.
I'm hoping to have it done before next March.  Especially since my mom has been so patiently waiting for it.
